The Dynamo defender shared his expectations ahead of the second-leg match against Hibernian which will take place on Wednesday, December 10.
– What is the general mood in the team and how are you personally preparing for the final match of the year?
– The team and I are preparing for this match in a good mood because it’s the UEFA Youth League – a chance for each of guys to show themselves.
– How much of an advantage is the 1:0 score from the first match, considering that Hibernian will count on home support?
– We don’t consider 1:0 an advantage because it’s a small margin – one goal is very easy to come back from. But we will do everything we can to score more.
– The U19 coaching staff has recently become smaller. Has it become harder for the team to understand coaches’ requirements?
– We already prepared with this staff for the previous two matches that took place at our training base. Pavlo Pavlovych is a very good coach, I believe he will lead us to victory in this match.
– Is it unusual for you to play in central defense?
– I’ve already been trained for this position so it’s nothing new for me. I’m ready to play there and show a good performance.
– It may be too early to talk about the upcoming break but do you already have any thoughts about it?
– We want to win this match, reach play-off and go on vacation in a good mood.
