FC Dynamo Kyiv affronted by violation of confidentiality restrictions and facts speculation in the case of Besedin

The UAF doping control coordinator Maxym Betsko has violated the article 22.05 of the UEFA anti-doping regulations by providing media with details of disciplinary procedure concerning Artem Besedin.

According to regulations, national associations are not allowed to disclose information on a case until the UEFA makes official statement, which can’t be published sooner than in 20 days after ultimate resolution comes into force.

Same regulations are stipulated in article 14 of WADA Code that is enforceable for all national associations.

There’s no doubt that all UAF representatives that have any information concerning a case must respect confidentiality restrictions and be responsible for their violation.

We hope the reputation of Ukraine won’t be damaged by unprofessionalism of Maxym Betsko, who’s decided to share confidential information with Football 1 TV channel. We also hope that UAF disciplinary bodies will start internal investigation and put the guilty to justice for disrespect to UEFA regulations and WADA Code.

According to our information, UAF representatives, interested in FC Dynamo Kyiv discrediting, provided journalists with confidential information on the case. We hope the abovementioned media will demonstrate respect to UEFA and Artem Besedin and won’t share those documents. Otherwise you’ll be responsible for violation of UEFA and WADA regulations.
