Full combat readiness before the Champions League start

On September 14, FC Dynamo Kyiv will start the 2021/22 Champions League campaign with the home match against Portuguese side SL Benfica.

Having returned to Kyiv after the game against FC Metalist 1925 Kharkiv, the White-Blues started preparations for the Champions League. On Sunday, the team had a theory class and afternoon session at the training complex in Vita-Lytovska.

On Monday, Kyivans had COVID-19 tests and medical examination. Then there were scheduled events for media. Mircea Lucescu and Serhiy Sydorchuk took part in pre-match press conference. Then Dynamo had another training session.

One of the team leaders, Vitaliy Buialskyi, who’s got back to training process, worked with the team. Heorhiy Bushchan and Mykyta Burda were also training with no restrictions.

Journalists were allowed to follow the session for 15 minutes. They witnessed warm-up, scamper and some exercises. The atmosphere in the team is obviously great.

Of course the rest of the session took place behind closed doors. On Tuesday, the White-Blues will try to demonstrate what they worked on at the NSC Olimpiyskyi.

On match day morning, Dynamo will have a morning session and theory class. Two hours prior the kick-off they’ll leave for the stadium.
