FC Dynamo Kyiv defender Mykyta Burda was born in Yenakieve (Donetsk region), but he went in for football in Yahotyn (Kyiv region). Mykyta’s grandmother mostly took care of him as his mother worked in the capital. He attended Yahotyn sports school. “I got a desire to play football when I was about seven. At first we kicked the ball about like all kids, but later three of us joined the sports school”. Burda’s first coach was Yuriy Krezhevytskyi. He noticed that the boy had a talent to be defender.
When coach’s sense is right
When Mykyta was 13 Yuriy Krezhevytskyi took him to the trial at KyivSportsSchool feeling that his trainee was ready to feature on the higher level. The coach was right. Burda stayed in Kyiv. Three years later Mykyta joined FC Dynamo Kyiv Academy. His coach there was Olexiy Drotsenko.
Upstairs step by step
Burda performed for Dynamo U-19 and won the first U-19 League with the White-Blues. Mykyta even was the skipper of that team.
The following season Burda made another step forward and joined Dynamo U-21. Anyway his main goal always was to feature for the main squad.
On August 23 2014 young defender performed for the first team against FC Zirka Kirovohrad in the Ukrainian Cup round of 32 (3:1) and made a good impression on the White-Blues head coach Serhiy Rebrov.
