Serhyi was born in Zaporizhya and started playing for the local FC Metalurh. In 2008 he already played for Metalurh-2.
Gaining experience with Koval
Having played in 14 matches for Metalurh-2 Sydorchuk was spotted by coaches of the first team. Till the end of 2008/09 season he played for the reserve team together with Maxym Koval.
On July 7 2009 Serhyi made his debut in Premier –League.
Meeting with Dynamo Kyiv
On September 11 2010 Sydorchuk appeared on the pitch 4 minutes before the time in Kyiv in the match against Dynamo (2:0).
Marriage to the good
In 2012/13 season Sydorchuk made 10 appearances before his transfer to Dynamo Kyiv.
Some say that footballers start playing worth after marriage. Serhyi Sydorchuk who married proved that this opinion is wrong by showing impressive performances not only for the White and Blues but for Ukraine National team too.
In September 2017 was voted to be new captain of the team.
