Andriy SHEVCHENKO: “I was emotional player and nothing changed when I became a coach”

- My impressions of the debut are positive. It’s great to start coaching career with victory.

- Do you agree Ukraine were lucky not to concede against Cyprus?
- We didn’t play properly late in the second half. In the first half we had some good chances. If we used them the game would have been different.

- Have you already made conclusions?

- Of course as we’ll face really good team. All British teams are similar, so it will be a good test for us as we’ll oppose Northern Ireland in France. We’re already getting ready for Euro-2016.

- Will the absence of Gareth Bale be a problem for Wales?

- Gareth is Wales key player, but other performers will do their best not to let his absence be a problem.

- You were quite emotional when Ukraine scored against Cyprus. Are you emotional coach?

- I was emotional player and nothing changed when I became a coach.

- Do you pay special attention to work with forwards?

- When I have more free time I’ll do it, but now we must get ready for forthcoming matches.
