Arsenii Fedorenko, midfielder of Dynamo U19, shared his impressions with the club’s YouTube channel following the 2:0 victory over Kolos U19 in the Matchday 28 fixture of the National league U19:
— In the first half we controlled the game. In the second half, on the contrary, we did not do enough work - Kolos had more chances. We cannot allow opponents to create such opportunities near our goal. At the same time we scored some good goals today. As for my goal I decided to test goalkeeper’s alertness with my shot and it worked.
— This season in the National league U19 Dynamo have not suffered a single defeat but have drawn seven times. What was missing in those moments to achieve the maximum result?
— I think we were not focused enough against weaker opponents. After the winter break we drew conclusions from that which helped us drop points less often.
— Is the title race with Shakhtar still ongoing?
— Of course. We still have two matches left and we will do everything we can and show what we are capable of. I believe we will achieve our goal.
— This week the team will have to play two league matches. Does such a busy schedule benefit young footballers more than training sessions?
— It’s not easy because you need to pay more attention to recovery and possible minor injuries. I can’t say that it’s easy.
