There has been a change in the coaching staff of Dynamo's first team.
Artem Yashkin has been appointed as the assistant to head coach Oleksandr Shovkovskyi. He will be responsible for the preparation of the team's strikers.
Artem Yashkin was born on April 29, 1975. He played for Dynamo from 1998 to 2002, winning three Ukrainian championships (1999, 2000, 2001) and two Ukrainian Cups (1999, 2000). After his time at Dynamo he also played for the capital’s Arsenal, in South Korea’s and Vietnam's leagues, and won the Latvian championship twice and the Latvian Cup twice. He earned 8 caps for the Ukrainian national team between 2000 and 2001.
After retiring from playing Yashkin worked as a senior coach at Dynamo’s Youth Academy named after Valeriy Lobanovskyi, coaching various age groups. Later he spent two and a half years at Lviv's Rukh where he held roles as a coach at the club's academy and as assistant coach to the first team's head coach.
We congratulate Artem Oleksandrovych on this new challenge in his coaching career and wish him success with the team.
