The young winger of “White-Blues” shared his expectations for the “Ukrainian Classico” which will take place in Kyiv on May 3.
– There is very little time left before the match Dynamo - Shakhtar. Are you ready?
– Of course, I’m ready! 200 percent.
– Today’s training session was intense and you stayed on the pitch afterward. Tell us more about that.
– As always the work started in the gym where we warmed up and prepared for the main part of the training session. Then we went out onto the field and started planning our game against Shakhtar. After training I almost always stay when allowed. I work on finishing attacks.
– You’ve already scored against Shakhtar at youth level, including winning goals. How can you transfer that experience to the senior level?
– It’s a completely different level. We’ll see how it goes. This will be my first match against this opponent at the senior level.
– This will be the first Classico not only for you but also for some other players who were still playing at youth level last year. Is there extra pressure or are you just really looking forward to the match?
– There will definitely be pressure - there always is. But you need to stay calm about it. We will play as always - for the win.
– The “Ukrainian Classico” is a principled match for any footballer. You probably used to watch these games on TV. Can you now imagine being part of this history?
– You usually realize it only after games. Of course, when I was younger, I watched many of these matches. So I really want to take part in it now.
