Dynamo midfielder Bohdan Redushko made his debut for the first team in the home match against SC Poltava (1:2) and provided an assist for Oleksandr Yatsyk. After the game he shared his impressions:
- It was a difficult match with an unsuccessful result. What are your emotions after the match and after your debut?
- I have mixed feelings. On one hand I’m happy that I made my debut and provided an assist but we lost and for Dynamo that is a bad result.
- How did you prepare for this match? Did you expect that you might get the chance to debut?
- No, I didn’t expect it because we were told that we would be joining the first team only after Dynamo U19’s match. When Ihor Volodymyrovych told us I began preparing for the game - and it was a pleasure to do so with the first team.
- What did you feel when you stepped onto the pitch wearing Dynamo’s first-team shirt?
- It’s been my dream since childhood and everything I’ve done throughout my football career was for this moment. Today I got my chance so, as I said earlier, I’m both happy and not fully happy because we lost.
- Did you expect to deliver an assist so soon after coming on?
- Yes, I expected it because I came on not just to debut but to influence the result. So somewhere inside I hoped for it.
- What from the pre-match preparations could not be implemented on the pitch today?
- I can’t say for sure. It seemed that in final minutes we were delivering the ball into the opponent’s penalty area, had full control but didn’t take our chances and didn’t score.
