During the traditional medical examination, FC Dynamo Kyiv halfback Denys Antiukh told club media about his vacation.
- Are players worried about the examination outcome?
- We aren’t, as we tried to keep ourselves fit when on vacation. We’re professionals, so there’re no issues of the kind.
- But you probably wanted to spend more time with family on vacation?
- A month is totally enough time to spend with family and have rest. Now it’s time to get ready for the second part of the season.
- What was your vacation “homework” like?
- Physical trainer sent us individual programs including different stuff – stretching, strength exercises, scampers etc. We were supposed to have nine training sessions within a certain period of time.
- Dynamo U19 are the only Ukrainian team to reach the euro cups spring stage… What’s the problem of Ukrainian football?
- First of all I’m happy for our youngsters. I wish them good luck. As for us, we had really tough Champions League group. We did our best, but failed. We’ll try to do better next season.
- You’re in for three training camps. Have you had such intense winter before?
- Actually when I played in the Ukrainian First league, we had two-month training camps at least.
- Did you meet your teammates during vacation?
- We were in Dubai, where we met Denys Harmash and Tomasz Kedziora. Upon the return home I was spending time with family and parents.
- What’s your goal for this year?
- We must grab three points in every game to win the league. It’s all in our hands.
- What are your personal ambitions? Do you want to play more?
- Of course I do. Training camp is a chance to show what I’m capable of.
