FC Dynamo Kyiv goalkeeper Denys Boiko has told about preparations for the return match against Fenerbahce SK.
- Denys, you used to play for Besiktas. Are Fenerbahce special opponent to you?
- It was long time ago. Besides, I don’t separate opponents into special and non-special ones. Every game is special to us.
The way people support their teams in Turkey, especially in Istanbul, is really outstanding. This will be Fenerbahce advantage, but we’ll do the best we can to reach the next stage.
- How difficult is it for keepers to be in front of supporters’ stand?
- Not only one stand, but whole stadium supports loud and passionately in Istanbul. So that won’t be easy. Anyway, all our keepers have got used to that. We’re strong mentally, so we’ll deal with the 12th player.
- Do you feel the pressure, considering how important the game is?
- I think our opponents will experience bigger pressure as they’ll play at home ground, in front of their supporters, who demand victory.
- What kind of Mistakes did Mircea Lucescu point out after the first leg?
- He analyzed Fenerbahce in detail both before the first and the second leg. I think everything he emphasized will help us. We’ll make conclusions and demonstrate better football in the return match.
