The Champions League group stage matchday 1 game against SL Benfica (0:0) was a milestone for FC Dynamo Kyiv goalkeeper Denys Boiko.
He made the 100th appearance for our club: 25 in euro cups, 65 in UPL, 8 in Ukrainian Cup and 2 in Super Cup. Boiko made his debut for Dynamo on May 9 2010 – in the home game against FC Metalurh Zaporizhia. Denys is the third Kyivans’ keeper to reach the mark of 100 appearances.
Besides, this was the 47th clean sheet for Denys in Dynamo (in all competitions). Now he shares the 2nd-3rd place in club rankling with Vitaliy Reva. The leader is legendary Olexandr Shovkovskyi with 315 clean sheets to his name.
