Ukraine national team have played a friendly against the German side Borussia Mönchengladbach at the Borussia-Park to get ready for 2022 World Cup qualification playoffs and 2022/2023 Nations League.
As you know, the game against Scotland that was supposed to take place on March 24, has been postponed to June 1 because of russian invasion into our country.
In the friendly against Borussia, Ukraine took the lead in the 9th minute. Mudryk hit the target after fabulous pass from Kyivan Shaparenko. Home side equalized in 5 minutes: Konoplia made a mistake and Noß sent the ball into the near corner.
Anyway, Ukrainians scored the decider 82 minutes into the match. Harmash passed to Pikhalionok, who made it 2:1 from outside the box.
All 10 FC Dynamo Kyiv players, who were called up to the national team camp, took part in this game: Illia Zabarnyi, Olexandr Karavayev, Serhiy Sydorchuk, Heorhiy Bushchan, Vitaliy Buialskyi, Denys Popov, Mykola Shaparenko, Artem Besedin, Olexandr Syrota and Denys Harmash.
