Dynamo in Turkey: hard work from day one

FC Dynamo Kyiv got to intense work straight away as they came to Turkey for a winter training camp.

The second day also included two sessions at the Mardan Sport Complex for Mircea Lucescu’s men.

In the morning, after scamper and warm-up, the White-Blues practiced passing in twos and in groups, did some running exercises. Meanwhile goalkeepers worked separately.

Then the whole team worked on combinations on one half of the field. Mircea Lucescu interrupted the process from time to time to tell players whet they were doing wrong.

The morning session finished with shots on goal from outside the penalty area. There were some spectacular goals and saves by goalkeepers. By the way, the keeper Ruslan Neshcheret, who had a birthday, was congratulated by teammates and coaches before the session.

Before the afternoon session, players had their photo with the Ukrainian flag taken to congratulate Ukrainians on the Unification Act Day.

In the afternoon, Kyivans also had game and tactics exercises. Artem Besedin is still not with the team due to health issues. So is Benito, who’s got slightly injured.

On Tuesday, January 24, the White-Blues will play their first friendly at this training camp – against SK Rapid Wien.
