On December 6, Dynamo U19, together with the first team delegation, left for Lisbon to play the UEFA Youth League group stage matchday 6 game against Benfica.
After five matchdays, the White-Blues are the group leaders with Benfica lacking 1 point behind. Both sides have already qualified for the spring stage of the competition. Still in this game they’ll fight for the first place that guarantees through ticked to the round of 16 (drawing – February 14, matches – March 1/2).
Teams that finish second in their groups will feature in playoffs (drawing – February 14, matches – March 8/9) against winners of the Champions Path autumn stage (winners of domestic U19 leagues whose first teams don’t participate in the Champions League).
