Right after the game against FC Kolos Kovalivka (1:1), a podium was set on the field of the Dynamo Stadium named after Valerii Lobanovskyi, where the champions were awarded.
The ceremony was attended by the UAF Vice President Artem Stoianov, Ukrainian Premier League President Yevhen Dykyi and Kyiv Football Association chairman Ihor Kochetov.
The major performers also took the floor.
Vitalii Buialskyi, Dynamo captain:
- It’s a great honor for me to be Dynamo skipper. I never thought this would happen to me. I want to express my gratitude to everyone in the club who works for the good of the team, to the management who does everything to ensure the club progress. We are Dynamo Kyiv, we have reached the top of the Ukrainian Premier League together with you. Euro cups are still ahead, and I’m sure that next year we’ll delight you on the international stage. Dynamo are the champion!
Andrii Yarmolenko, Dynamo player:
- When you achieve something, I believe that you should always be grateful. Firstly, my parents are here today. Please give them a round of applause, because these are the people who have supported me throughout my career, both when there were ups and when there were downs. Secondly, I want to thank the guys, the team, you. All the employees, staff, coaches, our management. I’m proud to be a part of this team. Because there were many difficult moments this year. But we held on like men, as one team, and became champions. That’s why I’m very proud that I’m celebrating this title with you today.
Next, I want to thank you, dear supporters. You are the best, you make us stronger with your criticism. But when you support, I will tell you honestly, the boys and I get wings. And we understand what a great club we are playing for. And finally, friends, I want to thank our defenders, our warriors, because without them, this league wouldn’t have happened. After all the congratulatory words, players, coaching and administrative staff received golden awards, and all those present were congratulated on the achievement by “SKAI” band with the song “We are Dynamo”, which is the unofficial anthem of our team.
