FC Dynamo Kyiv and fundraising platform UNITED24 have signed cooperation memorandum. The club will donate 250 000 pounds raised during charity matches to restore the ruined unit of Chernihiv city hospital #3.
“Due to support for UNITED24 from all over the world, the Ministry of Health of Ukraine has already purchased emergency cars, mechanical ventilation machines and a lot of necessary medical equipment. Chernihiv city hospital will be the first project for UNITED24 aimed at restoring of social infrastructure. We’re happy to start it together with the legendary club”, – said Mykhailo Fedorov, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine.
“In this time of need, UNITED24 platform became a solid support for the medical system of Ukraine. Within a short period of time, we got our work going and purchased necessary equipment for hospitals including those near the front line. Restoration of radiology department is an opportunity to deliver quality diagnostics and medical care to citizens”, – emphasized Viktor Liashko, Minister of Healthcare of Ukraine.
FC Dynamo Kyiv first vice president Vitaliy Sivkov, development director Maxym Radutskyi and goalkeeper Heorhiy Bushchan were present at the meeting.
This event officially embodies our partnership with UNITED24 that has been on since May. Due to charity TV marathons Slava Ukraine and Embrace Ukraine arranged by 1+1 media, by us and by our partners, we’ve already purchased the equipment. Our Matches For Peace #StopWarInUkraine were of charity kind too. There were 15 of them including the one against Everton FC in Liverpool.
Heorhiy Bushchan thanked all supporters, who attended charity matches in Europe for the benefit of Ukraine.
“Charity matches that took place in European countries united millions of people. These were actual anti-war events that brought the whole world together to support Ukraine and help people suffering from war started by russia. We’re thankful for the support”, – stated FC Dynamo Kyiv goalkeeper Heorhiy Bushchan.
