The Ukraine U18 national team played their second match at the international tournament in Sweden.
In the first game the Ukrainian side beat Norway 6:1 and in the second they faced the hosts of the tournament. Volodymyr Samborskyi’s team scored twice before halftime effectively deciding the outcome of the match.
In the second half Ukraine had chances to extend their lead but failed to convert them. This was the team’s second straight win at the tournament with one more match ahead against Denmark (September 9, kickoff at 18:30).
Dynamo midfielder Nazar Ivaskiv played the entire match while another Dynamo player, defender Danylo Ohorodnik, came on in the 73rd minute.
