Europa League. AEK – Dynamo – 3:3. Report

In the Europa League group stage matchday 5 game against AEK Larnaca FC, FC Dynamo Kyiv were fighting for the chance to perform in the Conference League in spring.

To preserve this chance, the White-Blues needed only victory. Visitors started with determination. In the 4th minute, Sydorchuk found Tymchyk in the right wing, Olexandr put a low cross into the box, Buialskyi attempted, but Piric saved.

In ten minutes Dynamo scored as Vanat sent the ball into the net after pass from Buialskyi, but Vladyslav was flagged offside.

In the 26th minute the score was opened. Faraj put a cross from the right side and Altman hit the target with a fabulous strike.

Kyivans equalized late in the first half. Buialskyi found Vanat inside the six-yard area and Vladyslav hit the near corner.

Still early in the second half AEK stepped in front again. Englezou crossed from the left wing and Rafa Lopes headed the ball in.

Even after that home side kept applying pressure in the attacking half. In the 72nd minute Altman obtained the ball inside the penalty area, Tymchyk didn’t let him shoot at first, but didn’t dispossess either, so AEK forward hit the bottom corner from the close range.

Still Dynamo almost came back. After cross by Tymchyk, Denys Harmash succeeded with a header.

In a stoppage time Harmash scored again after Parris took a corner – 3:3!

Then Parris had a chance to grab the winner, but Piric coped with his strike despite the rebound.

Thus Dynamo are to play only one more euro cups game this season – against Fenerbahce – which doesn’t mean anything for the White-Blues.
