FC Dynamo Kyiv midfielder Mykola Mykhailenko has shared his impressions of the game against FC Zoria Luhansk (2:0):
- It was a tough game, but I think we’ve won confidently. We could score more. I want to thank Zoria for this match.
- They say such games last till the first goal. Was this the case?
- I wouldn’t say so. Zoria aren’t the team that gives up after the first goal. So it was important to score at least another one.
- What did coach tell the team after the first half?
- He pointed put some detail, but basically we were supposed to stick to our game. We just couldn’t use our chances for some time, but did it in the second half.
- You played in the midfield while Brazhko was a center back. Was this unexpected?
- It was the gaffer’s decision. Of course I was happy to be in the starting lineup. I did my best to win.
- It seems the game was quite rough?
- That’s because both sides wanted to succeed. It was important to win in dedication. We have individually strong players, so if we add dedication we can only win.
- Did things get easier when the score became 1:0?
- I don’t think we were under pressure even when the score was 0:0. We played our game, created chances and knew we would score.
- What do you expect of the Wednesday game against Vorskla?
- Every game is a small step. We need only victories. I guess it will be another tough game as Vorskla are decent team. We’ll try to recondition and demonstrate our best football.
