FC Dynamo Kyiv halfback Mykola Shaparenko suffered a serious injury in the Europa League group stage matchday 1 game against Fenerbahce. He was diagnosed with a crucial ligament rupture.
On Wednesday Mykola had a surgery in Barcelona. He’ll spend a few days at the hospital and then will start the recovery process. According to doctors, Shaparenko will be out of football for about six months.
