Dynamo defender Navin Malysh commented on the match against Luhansk-based Zorya, in which the White and Blues won 2:0, with Navin making his first start in the Ukrainian Premier League:
— Today you made your first start for Dynamo in the UPL. How does it feel?
— Of course, I am very happy. You always want to play for a team like Dynamo. It is a great honour for me, so I am very pleased.
— Last season you played for Zorya on loan. Now your first UPL match for Dynamo was against Zorya. Is it fate?
— I suppose so. It turned out quite symbolic. I know almost all the guys in this team, so it was interesting to play against them.
— How was it playing alongside Andriy Yarmolenko on the same flank? How easy is it to communicate and interact on the pitch and create chances together?
— Yarmolenko is, of course, a top-class player, so it is a great pleasure to play alongside him on the same flank. You always want to learn from him and listen to his advice, so I am very grateful to him for that.
— It was a difficult game. You scored both goals late in the match. How did you plan to beat Zorya?
— I think we could have scored even earlier. We had good chances in the first half and got into the opponent’s penalty area well, but somewhere along the way we were missing the final pass, so I think we need to work a little more on that. But I am happy that we won today. Congratulations to the team on the victory.
— You are a right-back, and there is a lot of competition for that position. Tymchyk and Korobov are currently injured. How can you compete with such strong players?
— I don’t know. You have to work hard in training – which is what I am doing.
