— It’s great that I scored - I had been waiting for this goal for a long time. It’s especially nice to score before heading to the Ukraine national team. I hope I’ll be able to score there as well.
— Several wide players scored today - you, Redushko, Yarmolenko. Was there a specific instruction to use flanks more?
— It doesn’t really matter who finishes the attack or who receives the pass. It just happened that today wide players were more involved in scoring and assisting. In another match it could be midfielders or striker scoring. That’s just how it turned out today and I’m satisfied.
— Matvii Ponomarenko has now scored in seven consecutive matches and Redushko netted his first goal. Did you congratulate your teammates?
— Yes, I supported Bohdan and congratulated him on his debut goal. As for Matvii, during the match - even before he scored - I told him to stay calm, relax and that his goal would come soon. I felt he would score and that’s exactly what happened.
