Oleksandr Tymchyk leaves the Ukraine national team camp

Dynamo Kyiv right-back Oleksandr Tymchyk has been forced to leave the Ukraine national team camp as they prepare for the 2026 World Cup qualification matches against Iceland and Azerbaijan.

Tymchyk was one of four Dynamo players called up to the squad along with Mykola Shaparenko, Volodymyr Brazhko and Nazar Voloshyn.

Unfortunately, due to an injury, Tymchyk will be unable to help the national team in the upcoming matches.

Dynamo defender has made 24 appearances and scored one goal for Ukraine, having made his national team debut on September 3, 2020.

The national team camp began on October 6 in Poland. Ukraine will face Iceland in Reykjavik on October 10 at 21:45 Kyiv time and then host Azerbaijan in Kraków, Poland, on October 13 at 21:45 Kyiv time.
