On Wednesday, January 18, FC Dynamo Kyiv had a training session journalists were allowed to attend.
This time the White-Blues were working outside at their training ground in Vita-Lytovska. The weather was warm enough for that.
The session was guided by assistant coaches as Mircea Lucescu won’t join the team before the training camp in Turkey. The loud voice of Olexandr Shovkovskyi was clearly heard by everyone. Olexandr didn’t need much time to get used to his new position in coaching staff.
The session itself started with light scamper, continued with warm-up and running exercises after which players worked with the ball.
Beside traditional squares, the White-Blues practiced fast switching from defense to attack and then finished it all off with a small competition between three teams.
29 performers took part in the session – 4 goalkeepers and 25 outfield players. Midfielder Vitaliy Buialskyi and forward Artem Besedin were allowed to have a few days off due to health issues.
On Thursday, the team will have a morning session while on Friday, January 20, Kyivans will leave for Turkey to start their winter training camp.
