FC Dynamo Kyiv head coach Oleksandr Shovkovskyi answered media questions after the win against FC Zoria Luhansk.
- Congrats on this win and thank you for your support. Although it wasn’t a home game for us we played at the home ground. I want to thank our warriors for the chance to play football and give fans some positive emotions.
It’s always difficult to play after international break as a lot of our players were away. We had some issues with our defenders, so Brazhko had to play as center back. Popov and Mykhavko keep recovering.
We planned to start Ceballos, but he had a food poisoning and missed three days. Anyway we let him take the field late in the game to feel he’s important part of the team.
- When will Maksym Diachuk be back?
- He was on the squad list today, but of course he hasn’t reconditioned yet. He’s already training, but he needs time. At least two weeks.
- Mykhailenko made his first starting lineup appearance. What do you think of his performance?
- Every player knows he must be ready to start or make a substitute appearance. As soon as we enforced the team with substitution and increased speed we scored. Mykhailenko is doing well in training process, I’m satisfied with his attitude. Each player is ready to take the field when necessary.
