FC Dynamo Kyiv goalkeeper Ruslan Neshcheret, who’s turned 20, has shared his impressions of the training camp in Spain.
- Ruslan, do you feel you’re 20 already?
- Sure, my legs and back hurt. I’m kidding :) Actually nothing’s changed. But it’s time to get more mature and experienced.
- Dynamo have already had two friendlies. How are players doing?
- Pretty well. We’ve gained momentum and keep laying foundation.
- Goalkeepers had a lot of work at the training session today. Do you like that?
- We do, but sometimes there’re so many shots you can’t cope with all of them.
- What are the peculiarities of goalkeepers’ work in such a weather?
- One should be more careful as the field is slippery. So is the ball.
- You usually have your birthday at training camps. How do you celebrate here?
- I just had a piece of cake. The team won yesterday, it was a good birthday present.
