FC Dynamo Kyiv defender Tomasz Kedziora has briefly commented upon the atmosphere in the team before the Champions League second qualifying round first leg against Fenerbahce, and expressed his admiration towards his compatriots and country helping Ukrainian refugees.
- I’m happy to be here, this is my native country. I’m glad we’ve hosted a lot of Ukrainians here. We know what the situation in Ukraine is like and we do the best we can. They greet people from Ukraine really warmly in Poland and I’m really proud of our people and country for that.
As for our current location, I guess it’s even better that what we had before. There are a lot of locations like this in Poland.
I think we’re approaching our best fitness level. We must be hundred per cent ready for the match against Fenerbahce.
(Then Tomasz spoke Polish)
Dear supporters, we’d like to invite you to the match between Dynamo and Fenerbahce that takes place on July 20 at the Stadion Miejski im. Wladyslawa Krola. We’ll do our best to demonstrate our best football. We invite Poles and Ukrainians to the stadium. Let’s show that we stand together.
