The third week of FC Dynamo Kyiv training camp in Austria is underway. On Wednesday, July 19, our team played the fourth friendly.
This time Mircea Lucescu’s men faced the Saudi Arabian side Al Hilal SFC, who finished third in the domestic league last season.
Dynamo opened the score 5 minutes into the game. Tymchyk put a low cross from the right side and Buialskyi sent the ball into the net with one-touch shot. Later it turned out it was the only goal of the match.
Al Hilal responded with several promising opportunities. At first Nasser attempted inaccurately and then Bushchan saved after the strike from inside the box. Besides, Al Hilal took a decent free kick that finished with a header, but the player was flagged offside.
Yarmolenko could increase the lead, but hit the crossbar. Neves had a chance to equalize, but after rebound Bushchan grabbed the ball. He parried another strike in the following episode too.
Benito had a great chance early in the second half. Voloshyn found him inside the penalty area with accurate pass, but Benito hit the post! Milinkovic-Savic attempted with a header after cross, but the ball went over the bar.
Al Hilal put a number of dangerous corners and Bushchan reacted to shots from close range. Meanwhile Shaparenko took a free kick, but missed.
Anyway, the score didn’t change anymore, so it’s 1:0 for Dynamo.
