FC Dynamo Kyiv keep getting ready for the new season. On Wednesday, July 12, our team played their fourth friendly. This time Mircea Lucescu’s men faced the Swiss side BSC Young Boys.
Kyivans applied pressure earl in the game. They created their first chance in the 6th minute. Dubinchak attempted with a shot and won a corner while Benito missed with a header after it. Still Vladyslav succeeded at his second attempt. Tymchyk crossed into the penalty area and Dubinchak hit the net from a close range – 1:0.
Dynamo continued mostly being in possession afterwards. Karavayev appeared in a promising position, but was a bit unlucky. Then the White-Blues scored again, but the goal was disallowed due to offside.
Young Boys responded with a dangerous header, but Bushchan saved. Generally both sides demonstrated quite spectacular football. Home side used Kyivans’ mistake, Elia appeared one-on-one with our keeper and hit the far corner.
Still in a few minutes Dynamo took the lead again. Yarmolenko put a low cross into the box and Benito shot. Goalkeeper coped with his first strike, but Benito was the firs with a follow-up – 2:1.
In one of the following episodes Tymchyk handled the ball inside Dynamo box and referee awarded penalty. Nsame converted from the spot confidently. Later Bushchan saved the team again as he parried a dangerous shot.
Home side started the second half more actively, but gradually Kyivans started approaching their goal. Ukrainians were using wings, but that wasn’t quite effective.
Meanwhile Young Boys used their opportunity. Lakomy obtained the ball outside the penalty area and hit the target with a decent strike.
Still Dynamo were to say their final word. Karavayev found Diallo in the left side, Samba mowed towards the center a bit and crossed into the box, where defender sent the ball into his own goal accidentally.
So, it’s 3:3 – a draw in the fourth friendly at the training camp. Dynamo will play their next match on July 16 – against Aris Limassol FC.
