On Saturday, June 24, Ukraine U21 played the second Euro-2023 group stage game – against Romania.
Two FC Dynamo Kyiv players were in Ukraine starting lineup – defender Kostiantyn Vivcharenko and halfback Volodymyr Brazhko. Another Kyivan, forward Vladyslav Vanat, made a substitute appearance in the second half and participated in the episode when Romania defender Dikan scored own goal that let Ukraine win – 1:0.
Unfortunately, Vladyslav was sent off shortly before the final whistle.
