On Thursday, April 23, Ukraine national Under-17 football team played their second friendly match against their peers from Spain national Under-17 football team as part of a training camp. A few days earlier the team coached by Oleksandr Sytnyk suffered a 0:4 defeat.
In the second match in Córdoba the Ukrainians were once again defeated by the hosts. Goals from Mario Díaz, Pesquera and Tomás secured the win for Spain while Ukraine responded with a converted penalty by Safonov. The final whistle confirmed a 3:1 victory for Spain.
All three representatives of Dynamo Kyiv who were called up for the camp took part in the match. Defenders Dmytro Solomchenko and Tymofii Parinov started in the lineup, playing 45 and 90 minutes respectively. Meanwhile, midfielder Yaroslav Buravtsov came on after halftime.
