UPL. Mynai – Dynamo – 1:3. Report
FC Dynamo Kyiv faced FC Mynai in the UPL matchday 16 game that wasn’t played a few months ago.
This game was supposed to take place in early December 2023, but was ceased in the second minute due to the air raid alarm. Eventually it was decided to play it at the Dynamo Stadium named after Valerii Lobanovskyi in Kyiv.
The White-Blues opened the score in the 4th minute. Buialskyi found Vanat, got the ball back from Vladyslav and hit the corner – 0:1.
The early opener didn’t change Dynamo persistence. Oleksandr Shovkovskyi’s men applied high pressing and attacked a lot in different ways. Vanat attempted from the six-yard-box corner, but goalkeeper was there. Voloshyn missed a bit after on-two with Buialskyi.
Later Voloshyn tried to finish after cross from Buialskyi, but Bandura blocked it. Still in the following episode Mynai defender Nemchaninov hit his own goal after low cross from Yarmolenko – 0:2.
As the second half started Mynai unexpectedly pulled one back. The goal was quite spectacular. Vakula crossed into the box from the left side and Korablin hit the upper V with one-touch strike – 1:2.
That gave Zakarpattia side confidence. Remeniak started a fast counterattack and passed to Vitenchuk, whose attempt went wide. Anyway Dynamo created more danger. Shaparenko missed from outside the box. Popov attempted with a header after corner, but the ball went over the bar.
Halfway through the second half Mynai had two great chances to equalize. Semetiuk shot from inside the six-yard-box, but Bushchan parried. Then Ustymenko aimed at the near corner after mistake from Andriyevskyi, but Bushchan did a great job again.
Vanat appeared in front of the goal and sent the ball over Bandura, but was unlucky to hit the post. Anyway in the 86th minute Dubinchak put a low cross from the left wing and Voloshyn reached it in the far post – 1:3.
So, Dynamo continue chasing the league leaders – Shakhtar. The White-Blues will play their next game on April 21 – against Polissia.
