On Saturday, October 19, FC Dynamo Kyiv face FC Obolon Kyiv away in the UPL matchday 10 game. Home side were 15th in the league table before the match with 5 points while visitors – 1st with 22.
Both sides rushed forward early in the game. The teams played practically without the midfield and used wings quite actively. Eventually the White-Blues succeeded: Vanat crossed, defender cleared the ball inaccurately and Shaparenko netted it from inside the box – 0:1.
Home side responded with a decent strike by Taranukha from outside the penalty area, but Bushchan was there. Anyway Dynamo totally controlled the game and created a number of chances. In particular, Shaparenko fount Vanat with a perfect pass and Dubko fouled against Vladyslav inside the box. Referee awarded penalty and Vanat converted from the spot – 0:2.
Ina few minutes Vanat appeared one-on-one with the keeper and hit the near corner – 0:3. Afterwards Vanat eluded the goalkeeper and hit the post!
As the second half kicked off, Dynamo scored again. Kabayev found Karavayev and the latter hit the target – 0:4. Obolon pulled one back straight away – Mykhavko netted own goal after cross from Bliznichenko – 1:4.
Home side tried to use set pieces, but didn’t succeed, while visitors increased their lead. Brazhko hit the target from outside the penalty area – 1:5.
So, the White-Blues win confidently. Dynamo will play their next game on October 24 – against AS Roma in the Europa League.
