UPL. Dnipro-1 – Dynamo – 0:1. Report

FC Dynamo Kyiv faced SC Dnipro-1 at the Avanhard Stadium in Uzhhorod in the second match of the 2022/2023 UPL second part of the season.

Dnipro-1 were the league leagues before the game while Dynamo were fourth in the table.

It took both sides quite a while to start creating scoring chances. Still one can mention Kyivans’ rapid attack when Kabayev moved to the center from the left wing and attempted on goal, but his shot was blocked.

Dynamo put quite a few crosses into Dnipro-1 penalty area from both wings. Home side also had several opportunities including one when Neshcheret didn’t let Dovbyk shoot.

Eventually Olexandr Kucher’s men created a really decent chance as Peglow and Dovbyk set things up for Pikhalionok, but the latter didn’t manage to shoot properly.

41 minutes into the game Buialskyi scored. The White-Blues’ pressure resulted in a mistake by Hayner which Vitaliy used perfectly to hit the corner – 1:0!

The first chance in the second half was created by Dnipro-1. Peglow attempted, but Neshcheret was there. In the 65th minute, Tsarenko appeared in a promising position inside the box, but goalkeeper Rybak coped with his strike. Then Vanat tried with a heel kick, but the keeper saved again.

Later Blanco performed a rough dangerous tackle against Buialskyi after the game was stopped, but got only a yellow for that somehow.

In the 95th minute Neshcheret performed a spectacular save after header by Adamiuk.

Ramirez could draw the line in one-on-one situation, but Rybak parried.

After the final whistle referee sent Vitaliy Buialskyi off.
