Vitaliy Mykolenko joins Everton

FC Dynamo Kyiv and Everton FC have agreed upon the transfer of the White-Blues’ left back Vitaliy Mykolenko.

Vitaliy was born in Cherkasy and was making his first football steps at the Dynamo youth football school named after Valeriy Lobanovskyi. He made his debut for Dynamo U19 even before graduating from the Academy – on May 29 2016, the day he turned 17. On August 20 2017 he played his first game for the White-Blues’ first team as he made a substitute appearance 7 minutes into the game against FC Stal Kamianske.

Vitaliy became irreplaceable left back able to feature as centre back when necessary. Generally Mykolenko made 132 appearances for Dynamo and scored 7 goals.

Vitaliy won the UPL in 2021, Ukrainian Cup (2020, 2021) and Super Cup (2018, 2019, 2020). In 2019 and 2020 he was awarded as “Golden talent of Ukraine”.

FC Dynamo Kyiv would like to thank Vitaliy for years he spent with the White-Blues and to wish him success in the English Premier League.
