Upon signing the five-year contract with FC Dynamo Kyiv, Brazilian forward Vitinho did his first interview for club media:
- My first impressions are great. I’ve spent two days in Kyiv and I like it here.
- How come you’ve chosen Dynamo although you had other options?
- This was my personal decision. Dynamo are great European club. When they offered me this option, I took it immediately.
- Do you know any Brazilian players, who used to feature in Ukraine?
- I know Danilo Silva, who’s standing next to me. I must work hard to play like him. I hope I’ll succeed. I really want to benefit the team.
- What’s your favorite position on the field?
- I look up to Neymar and Ronaldinho. I believe that I’ll succeed in Dynamo if I do my best.
- Is this the first time you’ve moved so far from home?
- Sure. Everything’s new for me here. First of all I need to get accustomed and do my best to help Dynamo. I’m going to do some serious work here.
- How much time do you need for adaptation?
- I’m a team player, so my teammates are very important to me. I’ll also listen to the coach carefully. I think I’ll get used quickly. Besides I can ask Danilo Silva for advice.
- You’ve signed five-year contract. What do you want to achieve with Dynamo?
- I want to win the league and other trophies every year.
- Are you going back to Brazil or maybe you’ll be waiting for Dynamo internationals in Ukraine?
- I’ll stay in Ukraine and will work hard.
