Vladyslav Dubinchak: “It’s hard to oppose teams that are already in good shape”

FC Dynamo Kyiv defender Vladyslav Dubinchak has commented upon the friendly against NK Maribor (0:2):

- It seems Dynamo were more aggressive today than in the previous game against Rapid. Do you agree?

- We’re getting thing going. Of course no one likes to lose, but we have two training sessions a day and receive significant exercise load. Besides, we play against clubs that will continue official games in a few days. So, it’s hard, but I guess things will get better gradually.

- Does coach pick opponents, who’re almost ready for the second part of the season, on purpose?

- I think so. Thus we’ll get back to usual rhythm faster. Of course it’s hard to oppose teams that are already in good shape, but we’re still reconditioning. This morning we had a session, just like before the previous game.

- Are there any mental issues that don’t let you succeed?

- No, I think it’s only about fitness. When you don’t feel light enough you can’t elude opponents on the field.

- Dynamo training camp will last over a month. What are your plans for the upcoming days?

- We’ll be having two sessions a day. The next friendly will be on January 31, against another Austrian team. We keep working as usually. It’s going to be fine.

- What would you like to tell Ukrainians, fans and Ukrainian warriors?

- I would like to thank our soldiers, our defenders. It’s due to them that we can practice and play. Ukrainians need to keep holding on. I hope our victory will come soon.
