Kyivans started the game actively and created decent chance pretty quickly. Liedniev attempted from inside the box, but goalkeeper coped with his strike.
Tbilisi side mostly relied on counterattacks. When they unleashed their shots, Boiko acted confidently. Dynamo increased the pressure later in the first half, but failed to score.
After the break Mircea Lucescu used different lineup. Only Shaparenko stayed on the field. Early in the second half our team had another good chance. Besedin found Kedziora, but Polish defender’s strike was blocked.
Dynamo were mostly in possession, but actually didn’t create a lot of opportunities.
Popov and Vanat had two similar attempts after crosses from corner flag, but both missed. Anyway, when goalless draw seemed inevitable, Kyivans scored. Georgian side player fouled against Buialskyi inside the box, referee awarded penalty and Vitaliy converted from the spot.
So, Mircea Lucescu’s men win 1:0. On February 4 they’ll play another friendly – against Bulgarian side FC CSKA 1948 Sofia.
