Benito has shared his impressions of the away game against FC Rukh Lviv.
- Benito, what do you think of the match?
- We faced a really good team that defended well. Unfortunately we conceded before the break due to a mistake. After that things got easier for Rukh.
- So you’re saying the goal Rukh scored changed the situation on the field?
- It gave them confidence. We tried to score the second one, but failed. Rukh started using counterattacks.
- Was your assist something you practice?
- Yes, we practice those combinations a lot. I raised my head and saw Vanat was rushing forward, so I passed to him and he had just not to miss.
- You’re the first team regular this spring. Have you got accustomed to the tactics?
- As for me personally, I feel I can be more effective. I’m sure goals, assists and wins will come. We just need to focus and work hard. Of course I’m glad I assisted today, but I can benefit the team much more. We must do our best in every game remaining.
- Was the winter training camp beneficial for you in terms of communication with teammates?
- This training camp really gave me confidence. Coach let me feel he counts on me, so I stayed. I think it was a good decision for me.
Friendlies helped us improve the mutual understanding on the field. That really helped me a lot.
- What are your expectations of the game against Shakhtar?
- It will be an interesting one. We need to win this game for our supporters. If we succeed, we’ll approach the top two. We must fight on the field. We must prove that we’re better and dedicate victory to our fans.
