Dynamo’s midfielder Bohdan Redushko shared his impressions after the 1:0 victory over FC Rukh Lviv in Matchday 17 of the VBET League:
– It was a tough game, a tough pitch but we took our points. So we’re happy we won.
– Did you feel nervous before the first official match of the year?
– Maybe a little in the opening minutes but after my first touch of the ball it all went away.
– Were you able to adapt to the harsh weather in Kyiv after the training camp in Turkey?
– It was also a harsh winter before the camp so we came back and trained at our base. It’s fine – we adjusted and took our three points.
– There were quite a lot of fouls from the opponent. Did that motivate you more or add aggression on the pitch?
– Probably yes because we missed official matches. During the training camp we didn’t fight so hard for results. Maybe that fired us up. We pushed forward more, attacked more in the second half and scored.
– The score remained level until the 75th minute. Were you worried you wouldn’t manage to score?
– When I was on the pitch it felt like we were applying pressure and would definitely score. And that’s what happened.
– How much confidence does a successful start to the second half of the season give you?
– Of course it gives confidence. It provides a positive boost for the upcoming matches. So yes, it definitely builds confidence.
