FC Dynamo Kyiv players Heorhiy Bushchan and Olexandr Karavayev and Alan Aussi, who featured for Borussia Dortmund he’s currently working with, have shared their impressions of the charity match at the Signal Iduna Park.
Heorhiy Bushchan:
- Emotions are positive although we’re all anxious inside. But today at atmosphere at the stadium was great.
This is a small good deed we can do today – gladden our people at least a bit. Our thoughts were of Ukraine. We tried to demonstrate spectacular football.
Olexandr Karavayev:
- Ukrainian Armed Forces and volunteers defending Ukraine give us strength. Reading the news, every day we hope peace will come soon. When we see how our courageous warriors protect our land fighting for every inch of our ground, that encourages us. If they can do it, we can do our business too as we know what kind of might our people have.
Alan Aussi:
- Of course I have incredible impressions today. I think every kid dreams of wearing a jersey of such a great club at such a great stadium. Besides, I was featuring against the club I used to play for. This is a great moment for me and my family.
My friends in the battlefield are having tough times. Every day I keep in touch with them asking if they have water and food. I worry about them. I believe that such people as my friends will save our country.
