Ukraine played out a goalless draw with Georgia in the second round of the Nations League group stage in Tbilisi.
Both teams created chances, with Georgia looking particularly dangerous at times. Ukraine goalkeeper Anatoliy Trubin made several important saves, while Taras Mykhavko also cleared the ball off the line to prevent a goal. Neither side managed to find the net, and the match finished 0-0.
Four Dynamo Kyiv players featured for Ukraine. Taras Mykhavko started and played the full 90 minutes, while Oleksandr Pikhalonok and Matviy Ponomarenko were in the starting lineup and were substituted at halftime. Mykola Shaparenko came on in the 65th minute and played until the final whistle.
Andriy Yarmolenko and Volodymyr Brazhko remained on the bench.
Ukraine will play their next Nations League match against Northern Ireland on October 2, followed by a meeting with Hungary on October 5.
