FC Dynamo Kyiv goalkeeper Heorhiy Bushchan has shared his impressions of the game against FC Zoria Luhansk (2:0):
- Congrats to the team and fans. Considering the weather, this wasn’t actually football. We were getting ready for tough game and did our best to win.
- Did snow impact the game plan?
- As we were warming up the field was in a slightly better state. Gradually we got accustomed and played our football.
- It’s totally possible to get injured on this kind of field while you’re in for international games. Didn’t guys try to play carefully?
- No, we played for Dynamo today and focused only on victory. We’ll think about the national team tomorrow.
- This is your third game in a row as Dynamo skipper. Is it an extra responsibility?
- It totally is, but I must say the armband “found” me as other guys got injured. I hope they’ll get well soon and will be able to help us after the international break.
- Was it important to score the second goal to avoid the situation that happened in the match against Veres?
- Bad things tend to happen if you think of them. That’s why we just focused on victory and clean sheet. We were 100% sure we would score.
- Are you looking forward to the return of Andriy Yarmolenko? What does his presence give the team on the field?
- Actually it gives a lot, including confidence. When he’s on the field we know we have a player, who can make a difference.
- Do you enjoy playing in front of supporters?
- Sure. I would like to thank the Armed Forces of Ukraine for this opportunity.
- Has the win against Zoria brightened your mood before international games?
- Of course it has. Every win boosts strength and motivation.
- Are you ready for decisive international matches?
- Sure.
- Do you expect Ukrainian fans will be supporting you in Bosnia and Herzegovina?
- We count on that. There’re a lot of Ukrainian is Europe. I will be happy to see them.
