- Oleh Blokhin’s contract with our club will be valid for more than two years. Anyway I must tell what we have discussed.
First of all I emphasized that Dynamo must still struggle for Premiership and triumph in Ukrainian Cup. Besides we must feature as worthy in Europa League as possible.
I didn’t set a goal to win euro cup, and here’s why. It’s important for me to understand whether Blokhin’s health lets him help our team to achieve new level of play, as I’m not satisfied with the one we demonstrate today.
His answer was affirmative. Blokhin said that he already feels unity in the team. Foreigners and Ukrainians have got used to each other. According to the head coach winter training camp will let him explain performers what kind of football they are to demonstrate. It’s also a chance to get equally ready for the second part of the season.
Blokhin didn’t have such opportunity before: players joined out team in different psychological and physical conditions. Some foreign performers thought that it’s very easy to feature in UPL. Later they realized that competing is serious here.
I’ve let Oleh Blokhin know that if he decides to leave the team in such state which will let us achieve our aims, I’ll give him half-yearly compensation.
As we failed to secure the Champions League spot I could fire Blokhin without any compensation, which is specified by his contract. Still money is not above all for me.
