Dynamo acting head coach Maciej Kędziorek commented on the recent changes to the first-team coaching staff.
– Before the match against Kudrivka, your coaching staff underwent changes. Could you tell us more about your assistants?
– Grzegorz Wojtkowiak and Daniel Wojtasz joined us today. They are young specialists with broad horizons.
Grzegorz is a former footballer who played at a high level, including for the Poland national team, Lechia, Lech, and 1860 Munich. He has extensive football experience. As a coach, he has already worked in Lech’s academy and first team. Together with Anatolii Bezsmertnyi, he will be responsible for the team’s defensive play.
Daniel will combine analytical activities with coaching work and will be responsible for the team’s attacking play. He is a popular and highly sought-after specialist. He has worked with the Poland national team, Legia, Korona, and other Polish teams, and has devoted many years to the Polish coaching academy.
I am very pleased with the club’s quick response – the arrangements for Grzegorz and Daniel’s arrival were of the highest standard. They are impressed by how smoothly the process went. As you can see, we have a wonderful atmosphere today. I hope we can carry this mood into Friday’s match against Kudrivka.
– How did your assistants’ arrival go?
– Grzegorz and Daniel arrived the day before yesterday. They only slept for a few hours, as the night in Kyiv was difficult. However, they are not afraid of this. In the morning, after breakfast, they got straight to work. We have little time before the game, and we need to make the most of it.
– Is the coaching staff now complete, or are further changes possible?
– For now, we first want to focus on the matches against Kudrivka and Shakhtar, because time is short. Later, we will decide what steps are needed next.
