FC Dynamo Kyiv midfielder Mykola Mykhailenko, who made his debut for the team in the game against FC Karpaty Lviv, has commented upon the 3:1 win:
- The game was harder than expected as we conceded early opener, but then we played well, so I think it’s a totally fair outcome.
- Was the team forced to change something after conceding?
- No, we always play our football and aim to win. We did what we were supposed to and grabbed 3 points.
- What did coach tell you before you too the field?
- Nothing special, I had to follow the structure and have communication with everyone, because the last minutes were very important. It was important to play without mistakes, clearly and reliably.
- You’re already getting some game practice. Do you count on more in future?
- I always do my best no matter how much time I get. It all depends on me and other factors. We’ll see.
- Dynamo have a number of away games early in the UPL season. How difficult is that?
- Of course it’s tough as guys are far away from their families. Bus, plane, again and again... These trips are extremely hard, but we’re professionals, we know how to recondition and do it responsibly. This is the only way to succeed.
- What do you expect of the game against RB Salzburg?
- We all know they’re very good team that performs in the Champions League and Europa League regularly. Those will be two interesting games. I hope we’ll make it.
