Dynamo head coach Oleksandr Shovkovskyi answered questions from the media after the away match of the Conference League main stage against Cypriot side Omonia (2:0).
– Do you believe you can lead the team out of this crisis, given the recent negative results?
– First of all I want to congratulate the opponent on the win. They were more motivated today. Therefore I think it’s not really important right now whether I believe it or not.
– Popov committed a foul in the penalty area that led to a penalty and the first conceded goal. Did you talk to him about why he went for such an obvious foul?
– You know, I think the right thing to say is that I will take responsibility for these results and for this performance. Players make mistakes, it happens… I don’t think he intended to foul, it just happened that way.
– Voloshyn played today as a forward although there are three strikers in the squad. How do you think he performed?
– Yes, it’s a slightly unusual position for him but he has played there more than once in the past.
– About a year and a half ago there was a 6:2 win against Partizan. What are the reasons for such a regression of the team?
