On Friday, after the game against FC Shakhtar Donetsk, Mircea Lucescu submitted his resignation from the post of FC Dynamo Kyiv head coach.
The following day, the president of the club Ihor Surkis presented the caretaker manager – Olexandr Shovkovskyi.
Shovkovskyi joined the coaching staff earlier this year and already had the experience of being in charge as Mircea Lucescu had health issues.
After the morning presentation, the team took the field to have the first session with the new coach.
Players were divided into two groups. Those, who played the day before, had a reconditioning session while the second group worked as usually.
Dynamo will play the next game on Sunday, November 12 – against FC Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih away.
